Neon for Channel Letters

Making a Difference

Educate your customers in how you can make their sign stand out from the others, and how you can reduce its overall cost of ownership by reducing power consumption and maintenance requirements.

Although more costly, the intensity and brilliance of channel letters can be dramatically improved by the use of special color combinations of face material and tubing. This adds value to the sale of a sign.

Typically, fabricators use white tubing for most channel letter projects, with the exception of red. Blue faces can be illuminated with Blue E-40 tubing, which enhances the brilliance over the standard Snowhite 6500 tubing. Horizon Blue tubing can increase channel letter brilliance by 125%-150% over Snowhite 6500 tubing, and by 25%-35% over Blue E-40 tubing. Green faces can be illuminated with Green E-10 tubing, which enhances the brilliance over the standard Snowhite 6500 tubing. Tropic Green tubing can increase channel letter brilliance by 150%-300% over Snowhite 6500 tubing, and up to 25% over Green E-10 tubing. Yellow, Orange, Ivory, and White faces also benefit from high quality color tubing. For more detailed information, take a look at the “Neon Facts” brochure.

Channel letters can also be lined with engineering grade or high intensity grade reflective material, increasing the intensity, brilliance, and color consistency of the sign.

It’s putting knowledge to work that makes the difference in increased profits and more satisfied customers.
